Samantha + Carter

Not many days are actually perfect. This one came pretty damn close.

Overcast skies, perfect temperatures, an apple orchard for a backdrop, and every little detail thoughtfully planned and cared for. The whole day felt a little bit like a movie, except this one was real life and I had the absolute privilege of being there with my camera.

I’ve known Samantha for about 13 years, so watching her marry the person she chose to spend forever with felt pretty darn special. Sam has always had one of the kindest hearts. She’s the kind of person who would give you the shirt off her back without thinking twice.

So naturally, when it came time to meet the man she was going to marry, I had some pretty high standards. 😂

Thankfully, Carter passed the test with flying colors.

These two just make sense together. Their love is easy, genuine, playful and completely their own. You can see it in the way they look at each other, the way they laugh together, and in all of those little moments that happen when they don't think anyone is watching.

And getting to document their wedding on Carter’s family fruit farm and apple orchard made the whole thing even more meaningful. This wasn't just a beautiful backdrop. It was a place that already held pieces of their story and their family history.

Carter + Samantha, you two are truly perfect for one another. I’m so excited to watch this next chapter unfold, and I’m incredibly grateful that I got to stand beside you with my camera and capture the beginning of it.
